I'm The First To Admit That I'm Still Pretty Young

Granted, I have been a little AWOL and I can only apologise. My head has been filled with exam results, resit forms and handing in essays and reports that were due in so long ago. My motivation for anything A-level related is at an all time low resulting in 500 word essays that should only take an hour or so taking little over two days to add anything other than the title. Theres only six working weeks left before we are released to study for final exams on our own watch and I am counting down the hours.

Me and my friend decided we wanted to take a bike ride and as if by magic the sun actually made an appearance. The whole day was beautiful and included short dresses, floral patterns, denim shirts, shetland pony petting, my friends film camera and bubblegum ice lollies. It makes me wholly excited for Summer.

These pictures were taken at another friends house and the cats name is Milly. She was being all cute and purring at me. Usually I find her unnerving and unpredictable. She has been known to scratch her owner. But hey, I guess everyones allowed a bad mood once in a while.

The dress belongs to my friend and I am in love with it. The shorts underneath are DIY and the jacket is from Zara - I promise i have skin beneath that jacket, I'll stop wearing it so obsessively soon.

Two of a Kind

Could not love this picture of MK more. Her hair, her make up, her outfit, those boots. LUSH. The Olsen's never fail to inspire me. Major girl crush. (Rhyme? Shakespeare would be so impressed with my love poetry.) I spend so much time on Olsens Anonymous it may as well be my homepage.
So I went to see a french film this evening called Micmacs, about a homeless guy whose friends have very peculiar talents like being a human calculator or being freakishly flexible. It was loaded with dark humour, short scenes, clever cons and an adorable little love story thrown in for good measure.
I have a reading week next week meaning I'll probably end up reading less than I usually would and drinking more than I usually would. I knew there was a reason I didn't drop English Literature last year.
Oh and Hi new followers. It means the world that you like my blog and all the comments i get really brighten my day.

You Say Y-E-S to Everything

It's lush having Wednesdays off college to regroup and usually catch up on late essays or current projects. I always find the first few days back after a break tiring, getting back into the swing of early mornings and dull lessons takes me a little longer than it should but a night on the town tomorrow should lift my mood somewhat.
I probably should stop wearing nighties during the day but I lost the understanding of whats acceptable a long time ago so I'll continue till i catch pnemonia or the police pull me over for indecent exposure. I love the dainty floral print of this one and think it brings a hint of spring to the drizzley day.
I'm planning to spend my evening deciding what outfit to wear tomorrow night and maybe attempting to transfer all my music from the main computer to my laptop; a task so mammoth I have managed to put it off since September. I could be facing this screen till dawn.
Tights from a market stall, vintage slip, jacket from a friend, and dorothy perkins boots.

Little Bitty Pretty One, Oh what a song.

It's finally half term and I am loving the time off. I have been filling my days with friends, photos and films and my nights with alcohol and dancing. I have bought a couple of new things recently. Firstly my chunky silver bracelet that reminds me so much of a Christmas paper chain and a couple more rings to add to my ever growing collection. I also bought a grey dress with some killer fringing. Dancing in that was pretty magic. Other than that there really isn't much to report so I shall leave you all to lick your lips at the pancakes that me and my beautiful friends managed to cook with a haphazard attempt at following a recipe.
Cleaning up to the Matilda theme really made my day.
I wore a maxi dress that i found buried in my mums wardrobe, jacket from Zara and a hell of a lot of random jewellery.

Why make it strong just to brake it once again.

Its been a seriously busy few days but I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel
After my exam on Tuesday my workload will seem so much more bearable and I can begin to have some fun again. After a hefty breakup my blog photographer job has changed hands but I promise outfit posts should resume as usual after exam periods done. I'm hoping my life should begin to resume as usual any day now too. I've been so distracted with work and sorting out next year to feel anything deeper than motivation and I guess getting my head down was all I could do to keep my head up. Ironic right? These shoes were a little pick me up. From me to me. The message read: Chin up girl. You ain't so bad :)

Shoes from Topshop.

Going Through Changes

I never set out to make any New Years resolutions but certain situations have changed in my life beyond my control leading me to make some decisions. The next few weeks is a very busy one for me. January is a month filled with hours of revision, an exam and a very nerve racking assesment to get into London Fashion College, which includes a 25 minute maths test. Yikes. I also have photogoraphy and english work to do. Lets just say I'm snowed under, literally and metaphorically. ha. Come February "Me Time" begins and I'm not entirely sure if I am ready to sit back and take a good long look at myself.

Just thought I would show you guys my new white nail varnish which I love love love. The lipstick is morange from Mac.

Another night. Another year. Another Decade.
My new years eve always seem to be a bit of a flop, but this year was so much fun. I had a few of my girls over and we danced and drank our way into 2010. I hope everyone else rang in the new year in style.
Thanks to my friend Becky for editing these photos and Hannah for taking them.
Dress from next and dorothy perkins boots, i dont think i have taken these beauties off once.
